The difference is that the slide platinum is a premium litter formulated with a higher concentration of odor eliminators.
The box doesn't state that the litter is unscented. Is it scented or unscented?

Probably some of the best litter available!
This is certainly some of the best litter, in terms of clumping, low dust, and proper odor control without being overly scented. It's not lightweight, of course - but I'm not sure a light version would be as effective. My only complaint would be the cost. It's not cheap - and wouldn't be bad for 1-2 cat households. But when you have 4 kitties (don't ask why - LOL), it's a bit much to keep up with. Also the box, while probably environmentally the best option, is unwieldy. It comes in the shipping box wrapped in plastic, so it's hard to grip when pulling it out, then you have to deal with removal of the plastic, the little strap for holding must be fished out, and the box usually needs coaxing with a tool to open. A re-design of the box would be nice for handling. I'm pretty strong but I imagine older or weaker people might have a very hard time dealing with the box.

I'd be more upset if I didn't get this product on a deal, because it does not work well. There was practically no covering of the stinky cat smell, and the litter is scooped at least one time every day, So there is no reason for such a terrible smell still. Also, The clumps were soft and loose clay sticks to the scooper. I had high hopes for this newer product, and quite disappointed.
Best litter ever!
I love this litter! No dust, no tracking all over house, easy to scoop and no poop smell! The only thing I do not like is there is a fragrance odor even though marketed as fragrance free and the price is ridiculously high! I have 5 cats and have tried many litters and this one is the best in my opinion. I bought two large stainless litter boxes which work extremely well with this litter. No sticking or scraping needed. In spite of price I highly recommend this product!

Best I've used for automatic litter box
I have an automatic litter box. My cat has a favorite spot to pee in a back corner of the box next to the rake. I have been struggling with clumping litters that get get sticky and wet, gumming up the rake and turning to mud on the bottom of the box. I just switched to this Arm and Hammer "Clump & Seal Slide Platinum" and it is a huge improvement. The consistency is more like sand than the clay granules of my old litter. It clumps hard and dry, and the rakes glide through it staying dry and clean. I do not have a problem with the smell and find it pleasant and not over powering. I highly recommend this product.

Literally the Worst Cat Litter I've Ever Tried
I trust Arm&Hammer cat litter, especially the multi-cat one, so I was expecting some average cat litter when I got this for my automatic cat litter box. And well, it works as it should and does work with the automatic litter box! However this is the worst smelling litter I've ever had. It smells like chemicals and stinks up an entire 10-foot radius around the litter box. The smell does not fade with time! I endured about a month of this and then threw it out with a "good riddance!" In a small apartment this was unbearable. I don't think my cats liked it either but they've never been that picky. To me it was atrocious and I'll never buy this again. I've had cats for about 20 years and this is the only litter purchase I truly regret.

Stink Smells awful. Heavy
This litter smells terrible. And fragrances end up in the liver. It's also extremely heavy per measure. I am never buying anything from Arm and Hammer again. What happened to the baking soda controlling odors? They discontinued a unscented light weight formula.

So i decided to try this, i use the clay clumping type normally, this was much better no more prying the litter off the side of the box, that was so gross!!

slide Shipping box
Love Chewy, Love Slide kitty litter however quite a bit of litter was loose in the shipping box, and even more loose litter within the plastic encased product box. Please advise

I always buy unscented litter for litter box issues. The kitties don't mind it but it smells. So bad. I should have tried to figure out how to get the money back guarantee. I purchased this item as it was on sale-two stinky boxes! But I just used more of it and emptied the box every few days to use it up.

New buy again
This product advertises that it will slip out of the pan, It doesn't slip out of mine. In fact it sticks worse than any of the cheaper stuff I've used. It is my fault that I didn't check for unscented. I couldn't be in the same room when the window was shut and out of five cats, only one would use it. My husband will try to use it to soak up oil spills, don't know how it will do there.
